All these tracks are DRM free mp3's allowing you to transfer them to your mp3 player or Ipod and copy to CD-R. We concentrate on promoting independent music, offering something different, new or alternative from the mainstream music sites. Purely and simply we create a direct connection between the music makers and the listeners, who are able to preview a sample of the music first before downloading tracks. The advantage of buying music from the internet is that it allows you to experience and discover more diverse, different and original music. This is music that does not conform to the safe and familiar style, which dominates our popular music culture. It also enables web surfers to discover new music in a new way, by playing tracks in an interactive way you can take control. In the beginning of 2005 we introduced a new search feature called the "Download Factor" which helps you find the most consistently popular artists on the site. The artists receive £0.25 for every download via a credit and £0.30 for each track. All artists have made an agreement with intomusic.co.uk to distribute their music and receive more than 50% of the retail price, significantly more than they would receive if signed to a label, we allow listeners the opportunity download more music for a reasonable price.
