What is it?
The audiax is an mp3 fm transmitter. The Digiana Audiax is an FM Transmitter, a ingenius little device which allows you to hear your portable player through any FM radio. The most common use would be for your car radio where you simply find an open FM frequency around 88Mhz to 108Mhz and tune in. The Audia x connects to the ear phone socket or lineout of your portable player with a small phone cable and is powered by one AAA battery. It can be used for many portable devices including MP3 Players, PDA's,discman's and minidisc players.
This unit only transmits for a range of about 10 metres. Best performance is achieved when it's a few feet from your radio arial.
It's very small only a couple of inches long.
In terms of sound quality it's on a par with any FM radio station.
This is a useful gadget for anyone with a portable player.
