We don't charge a percentage or commission on sales of your music. This means you receive the full sales price of each song. For example if you set the price of your song at £0.85, when someone buys it, the £0.85 will be paid instantly to your paypal account. It's as simple and straight forward as that. No waiting around for monthly or quarterly payouts.
The main trouble with the conventional model of selling music on sites is the independent musicians don't get paid much per download to make a significant income. The reason is that the services have to absorb a large number costs incurred in running a system which is over complicated and inflexible (we know we used work in this way before we launched this new service).

What do I need to sell my music?
Your music in MP3 format. Pictures of either an album or EP cover or band picture in jpg format.
You also need to setup a paypal account if you don't already have one.
Why do I need this service to sell my music as downloads?
If you're going to sell your music you need a service to take care of the delivery of the songs. You need the technology which will store your music securely and deliver it instantly to customers via temporary links, never revealing the true location of the files, this is done via our dedicated server with fast download speeds and the required technology. Customers will expect to access the music instantly with quick downloads after they make payment. Also they may want to download files again, we instantly send them a password so they can login and download the files only 3 times. Using the 'content management system' enables musicians with no technical web knowledge to upload and edit a range of titles e.g. albums or ep and change the prices instantly. These are then available and can be selected by customers and added to the shopping cart. The stats for downloads and plays are shown for each week. We handle all technical queries from customers relating to downloads and delivery of your music.
Also the customer can play 60 second previews of your music. In addition as new artist your be under the 'Latest Music Downloads' on the front page of the site, giving you exposure to 1,000's of people a day. If you view other artist's pages you can see that their music gets played.
Security checks are also made that : the amount paid is correct, the customer only receives tracks they paid for and that the payment receiving email is correct. If you were selling a CD you could check all these things before sending the customer the CD, but with downloads you can't so you need a system which does this for you.
Is there a contract, what if I want to cancel?
There is no fixed term contract you can easily cancel your account at any time. Provided you cancel before the next monthly payment, you will not be charged any further. We have a non-exclusive arrangement to deliver your music. This means you are free to sell your music anywhere else you wish or sign recording contracts.
Can I Sell My Music In Album Format?
You can upload tracks under an Album or EP title's to be displayed as such. However pricing is per single track and customers can choose tracks and will be charged per track.
Yes totally safe, because we never request any sensitive information that would allow us to access your paypal account. The service runs without needing any of this information.
How long will take for my music to go live?
From your initial registration, it will take up to 24 hours (excluding weekends and public holidays) to go live, assuming our test transaction is successfull.
