The Previews allow you to listen to free online music, streaming the track almost instantly. You have to wait a few seconds for the track to pre-buffer. The tracks are encoded at a lower sample rate and either 30 seconds or 60 seconds long. The quality of the streams are no where near are good as the downloads therefore the idea is to allow you a preview first.
This allows you to make your choice on whether you'd like to download a full version. You may be prompted as to whether you would like to open a .m3u file in which case click 'Yes' to open the file and this will cause the track to be streamed without needing to be downloaded first.
- Macintosh Computers- Mac with ITunes If you have this setup then the .m3u file will be downloaded. You then need to double click on this link and then it will play in Itunes.
When downloaded and installed the player should automatically configure your browser.

PROBLEM PLAYERS
- Real player -
Real player has a nasty habit of hi-jacking the computer file .m3u associations, changes it to .pls even if you've un installed real player and then installed winamp.
