The IRiver 20GB H10 is the larger capacity version of the H10. They had the insight to include some quality Sennheiser MX400 headphones in black, instead of skimping with inferior ones.
In practice we can store files at much higher bit rates of 128kbps WMA or MP3 and get around 5,000 songs on the player.
Navigation of the player is very intuitive, I like the combination of the 3 controls on the face of the player. The long touch pad in the centre allows you to scroll up and down the menu by moving your thumb or finger up and down the pad, it's also used to adjust the volume level. The two buttons either side navigate back and forth through the functions. Play, pause, forwards, backwards buttons are situated on the side of the player.
They do a good job with normal, rock, pop and jazz but other settings just seem like a token jesture and you will need use the custom eq setting to achieve a more desirable personal sound. The SRS Wow settings are also an added bonus and worth playing with.
With this player you can view and store colour pictures and text files. The 20gb comes with an FM radio.
